Thanksgiving

This year I did my first Thanksgiving Turkey! It was kinda stressful. I think the turkey was "squaking" at me! I actually cried when pulling the gizzerd and neck....EWWWWWWWWWW! Oh that was really terrible!!! LUCKILY I can still eat it when its warm and cooked properly. BUT I think it turned out ok. I saw on the today show that if you cut the turkey in half than it cooks in 1 1/2 hrs. So with some added herbs and garlic and a LOT of butter it was yummy and well cooked in 1 1/2 hrs! We had rolls and a yummy pretzel jello and some sweet potatoes. It was lovely. Now the tree is up and the house feels like Christmas. We are starting a new tradition at our house called "The Elf on The Shelf". You should google it...its way cute!
Im excited for the holidays this year. It has been a really crazy year at our house and in our life. The details become very irrelevant when this time of year comes around and you just want to be with your family. Without the savior, the happiness, health, healing, and peace cannot be possible. I have learned so much about myself this year. I am grateful for so much love and support. I have a great family close by and about 1500 miles away too:). I wish that my family that lived outside of Utah could be close, but I know that they are close in heart, as well as doing things that will better their families. The perk...free place to stay when traveling:)! I miss them everyday. You know who you are...I am SOOOO grateful for you! I love you so much and can't wait to hang out the next time you come in to town!
Alright enough gushing! Happy Holidays:)
PS..The pics of thanksgiving were TERRIBLE...EWW! Really terrible! So just imagine a beautiful me, turkey, decorated table....ya know, I thought it would all turn out that way:)!

2 new posts down below!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some random events in the past month!

Alright! It has been an eventful month- HOWEVER. Most of these are not events- just things I wanted to post about!

Ben is a thrill seeker. Therefore my children will be too. I don't think I have a choice in this....but I do get the last word. So for now- just in the parking lot can he drive this "little machine". Very scary!

Most of you know my little brother. He has had some struggles the last..um, 10 yrs! So he has been through Jail this year and in patient drug rehab. While he was in rehab, he made a transformation only you could see with your eyes and hear with your ears, and most definitely feel with your heart. It was amazing. And although he has soooooo far to go, he has come so far. He lived with me for 3 weeks in October. I was nervous, not because of him, but because we use all of our house. We are loud, and he had to sleep on my couch. He was very uncomfortable, which was my intent so he didn't stay long, but he was very respectful...I know..have you met him? Its crazy! Anyway, what happened while he was here was so great! When he was younger, he used to make all of us laugh so hard, he had a personality, he was funny funny funny, and even fun too! He is back! I have stronger abs because he made me laugh soooo hard my eyes watered just about every couple hours. It was so great! He also got to spend quality time with my boys. This picture shows my Garrett giving Dave a love. Garrett loves his blanket and when he gives loves, he likes to give his blanket to you than lay on the blanket. It sounds kinda weird when I type it out:) Anyway, I am so glad he is back! I truly did not believe it possible. Im so proud of the progress he has made!

Garrett giving his cousin Allie's picture a hug! Miss you Allie!...Oh and Stac to:)

My Grandpa Fullmer getting a kick out of himself! It was so great:)

For fathers day, we gave Ben a gift certificate to paragliding. BAD IDEA!!! But he had fun!

I ummmm really like to sew! I have been making fun bags, car seat canopy's and beaded watch bracelets! Its fun, and it feels so accomplishing to finish something! Anyway, here is some of the stuff Ive done!

We put our other house on the market! ANY ONE?????? We need to move on out of this neighborhood and can't do that till this one sells!

Mitchell has been doing the cutest things at school, I should be taking pics of everything he does. He is smart and loves to learn! He has learned how to spell his name and write it, but he hasn't learned how to put it in order yet:) He came upstairs the other day with his magnadoodle and had written his name! SO CUTE! I love it!

Halloween and such!

So Im not quiet sure where to begin. My life has been so crazy these days! I've had family in the hospital, friends in the hospital, chaos at my house, doing hair like crazy, and then....I have 2 crazy wild boys. SO forgive me for my absence. There has been a lot going on so like I said, im not sure where to start! How about Halloween! We had a fun Halloween this year. Here are the pics to prove it!

The pictures are not in order of event, but we hung out at our ward party. Then to my parents, then to park city with my Mom. It was fun! But glad its over.

OK is Garrett not the cutest cowboy "Woody" ever? I thought so too!

Mitchell loves Buzz Light year! He still "flys" around the house in his costume!

Ben bought this in the children's section of Old Navy. Yes it fit him- just a little too tight though!

My parents had a pinata for the kids to do. It was pretty hilarious. I took Uncle Tyler to officially break it open. But Addi did a great job- She needs to play softball!

Theres little Garrett again- I just couldn't get enough of him in his costume!

Garrett and I- I was supposed to be "Jesse"

This is my grandma sally. She is my Mom's mother in law. She is such a great person, and just loves my kids. She was really sick on Halloween and unable to join us for the festivities, so we went and visited her!

The Whole Gang at Grandpa John and Grandma Patty's! SO FUN!... We are missing a little bumble bee though???

Until next year Halloween!
