Celine Dion.... A dream come true!

On Sunday night I saw Celine Dion in concert. I know, I know it was on Sunday, but in my defense I bought the tickets 1 1/2 ago, and she was scheduled in November but got sick. So she re-booked it for Sunday Feb 22. But I could have sent the tickets back and got my money, but I thought I will never have this opportunity again, so I went! I bought tickets for my Mom, her sister Tammy and myself. We did not sit together, and I don't know why because I got the tickets the very minute they went on sale, but whatever! Anyway, I had floor row C tickets, but they were pretty much front row. As you can see by the photos, I could just about see up her skirt. And I think the photos do NO justice of how close I was! Anyway, she brought Vegas here to Utah and put on the best show I have ever seen. Her voice was even better in person, it is as if she plays it like an instrument. I could not believe that I was watching her in person! I will take this experience with me forever. Thanks for letting me share:)

Celine Dion.... A dream come true!

Ben &Mitchell Snowshoeing

Ben took Mitchell snowshoeing on Saturday with the scouts! I was terribly jealous that they got to go off on this excellent adventure, and I couldn't go with them. But they had so much fun, Ben and Mitchell took 3 hour naps when they came home... that is how much work and fun they had! Ben carried Mitchell in a hiking backpack, and I made Ben promise to take pictures and he did! Aren't they just darling!

I've been UP to!

I have self diagnosed myself with insomnia... Now I know this is a serious disorder, but due to pregnancy, I have been given a taste of what this is like. I will fall asleep just as fast a you can say it, but once I get up to pee, I am up for at least 1 1/2! I hate it! It is the weirdest thing. Hopefully it will go away when the baby starts sleeping through the night.... so like next year? HA HA! Anyway, we have been up to a lot of fun these past few weeks. We have done some remodeling! We painted some walls and ceilings, hung brand new doors throughout the house, I painted our front door red, I pretty much finished the baby's room, and Ben put new shelves and hanging rods in both of the boys room. I declared that my Valentines day gift, we don't really see the point in getting gifts or hardly celebrating the "V" day! But that is what we did on Valentines day. We also we at the the doctor on Saturday, Mitchell got RSV this past weekend. He has been isolated to our house this week, and is pretty much free of any signs! He is talking so much, and coping everything.... bad words and all, that we say. I went to the doctor again this week and we scheduled my C-Section for April 22. I only have 8 weeks left! My doctor asked me why on a Wednesday and why on that date? I said so that we don't have to remember 2 birth dates. Mitchell's b-day is July 22. Hey if you have a choice, why not right? Things are going well, and I will be posting pics of the house this evening because right now there is saw dust, and dirt everywhere so I have not taken pics! Good luck to my sister today, she finds out what she is having!

Pregnancy Update

I went to the Doctor yesterday and of course I was nervous just because I feel so great, and that is how I felt the day that they put me on bed rest with Mitchell. But also because I am 4 weeks after when I was put down last time. Well all is still well. I am 29 weeks, and feeling great. I am feeling a bit over sized in most area's of my body, which is typical for me. I feel like my nose doubles in size, and I thought that was because I retained 30lbs of water last time, but apparently that is just the norm for me! So I saw my Mom yesterday and I asked her if my nose looked bigger, and she said it was a bit puffy. So I asked the Doc and he said... Your 10 weeks away from having this baby, that is just the way it goes:) I told my Mom, "I would much rather be an ugly pregnant women than an ugly not pregnant women because I am not pregnant my whole life!" Well I actually don't think I am ugly, just NOT PRETTY. Pregnancy does the strangest things to your body! Anyway I feel great, and have been remodeling our house, setting up the babies room, and working out 3 days a week. I have not gained as much weight as I had by this point, but we will see. I am down to seeing my Doc every 2 weeks, and in 4 weeks he is scheduling my C-Section date. I think we will have him on April 22. Put it in your books:) My doctor asked me if we have picked a name, and I said pretty much and he said "can I write it down?" I said, "can I change it?" he said "Yes" and I told him and all of you that we are probably going to name him Garrett!. As he listened to his heartbeat he said.. Garret sounds really good. So we like it, but it is not set!!!

I will post pictures of his room, and the rest of the "remodel" in a few weeks.
