Mitchell's 2nd Birthday!

My baby is 2! I can't believe that he is 2! It is so crazy, it all started on Sunday morning. Avo, Popi, and Rudi-ka-zoo Grandma, had us up for Sunday brunch. I had some photos taken for Mitchell's 2nd birthday, and so we had a little celebration with all of them for his birthday! The food was out of this world, and we are so grateful to have a chef in the family who makes ANY kind of food, better than you can buy it! Tuesday was Mitchell's birthday, we started the day by going to the zoo, and riding the train, carousel and seeing the monkey's, and elephants (his fav) than we went to The Gateway to try and cool off by running through the fountains... He was a bit afraid of the fountains so I joined him! Than Mitchell had a long nap while I tried to be Martha Stewart or at least a close relative, and made him a Thomas and Friends birthday cake. With the advice of Stacey, Patty and some encouraging clients of mine, I think I pulled it off? What do you think? Anyway we had close family and friends over for cake and ice cream and presents! He had such a fun day, he loves his gifts:) Thank You too those who came and made that day special for Mitchell, the support of family means EVERYTHING to us! To my Baby...umm big baby boy Mitchell, I love you sweetheart, you are my sunshine! Happy Birthday!

Catch Up

We had a fun weekend, when Ben was in the LDS frat, he always did this "Visquene Slide" with them for an activity in the Summer! So our friend Tina thought she would bring it on back. I was never in a saroity, so I had never experianced it for myself! It was soooo fun! I will let you be the judge, by looking at the pics yourself! Mitchell was a little unsure at first, but he loved it by the end of the day!




We have been having some fun! We went up to Park City for a friends birthday, and rode the Alpine Coaster! It was a hoot!!! I was nervous because Ben wanted to take Mitchell... and we all know how careful Ben is:) But once I got in and we were seat belted in I felt a lot better... Than Mitchell was crying the whole way up and just a little fussy! But as soon as Ben put the pedal to the metal, I heard this laugh, far off in the distance that became contageous and got closer and closer, he and Ben were laughing so hard, like 2 little boys, and they ran into me because I was going so slow:) We got to the bottom, and Mitchell was kicking and screaming to do it again.... So we did! This time I took him, and he kept saying "daddy???" like I was going to slow! It was such a blast!

OK I know that it is the 9th already! But I just had to post some fun pics of the family fun over the 4th of July! We went to Fairview... It has a humble place that the kids had a great time at! They have Bathrooms, Showers, and a Pool! It was so fun, and we had great weather. Mitchell loved hanging with his cousins, it was just so fun to see him and Carter interacting. Carter is only 2 months older than Mitch! It was so cute;) Mitchell did not want to sleep at all on the first night. So when he decided to finally go to sleep, than wake up at 5:30 in the morning, Ben took him to the car and drove him around than came back and fell asleep in the car! Mitchell loved the parade, and all the candy. He loved the pool, and was such a great swimmer.
